YllA¤tyimme suuresti, kun taksi-auto vei meidA¤t aivan eri paikkaan kuin mikA¤ oli merkitty hotellin sijainniksi esitekartalla (hotelli sijaitsi Grand Baie lahden toisella puolella 3 km pA¤A¤ssA¤ esitekarttaan merkitystA¤ paikasta)! Selvisimme "yllA¤tyksestA¤" melko nopeasti hotellin henkilA¶kunnan  jA¤rjestA¤mA¤n miellyttA¤vA¤n tervetulo seremonian ja virkistA¤vA¤n coctailin ansiosta. Hetken odottelun jA¤lkeen saimme hyvA¤n huoneen rakennuksen kolmannesta kerroksesta. Standard huone oli loistavassa kunnossa, hA¤mmA¤styttA¤vA¤n hyvin sisustettu ja tilan kA¤yttA¶ erinomainen. Huoneen parveke avautui uima-altaille pA¤in kukkivien puiden varjostaessa sitA¤ sopivasti. Nukuimme yA¶t parvekkeen oven ollessa auki ja herA¤simme aamulla lintujen kauniiseen lauluun. MeillA¤ oli puolihoitopaketti (aamiainen ja illallinen). TA¤mA¤ oli ihan hyvA¤ ratkaisu ja todennA¤kA¶isesti suhteellisen edullinen. Ruoka oli erinomaisen hyvA¤A¤ ja valinnanvaraa oli runsaasti. Ruokailuajat olivat sopivia (aamiainen klo 7 -10 ja illallinen klo 19 - 22). Hotellin siisteys ja uima-altaiden puhtaus oli kiitettA¤vA¤A¤. Hotellin sijainti osoittautui loistavaksi. Kaupunki Grand Baie on kA¤velyetA¤isyydellA¤ hotellista. Veden ja muiden tarvikkeiden nouto marketeista oli vaivatonta. Koska juomat hotellissa olivat erittA¤in kalliita, niin tA¤mA¤ oli tervetullut helpotus. Hotellilla on oma pieni uimaranta. HyvA¤ julkinen uimaranta on parinsadan metrin pA¤A¤ssA¤ hotellista. LA¤hellA¤ hotellia on Mervillen ranta ja 1,2 km pA¤A¤ssA¤ Pereyberen ranta. Nautimme auringonotosta ja uimisesta 3,5 km etA¤isyydellA¤ hotellista olevalla Mont Choisyn liidunvalkealla rannalla. Mont Choisyn rannalla tapasimme ystA¤vA¤llisen ja luotettavan taksi-autoilijan, jonka turvallisessa kyydissA¤ kiersimme saaren nA¤htA¤vyyksiA¤ katsomassa kolmena pA¤ivA¤nA¤. KA¤vimme myA¶s 5,5 km etA¤isyydellA¤ hotellista olevalla Trou aux Bichesin rannalla. Hotellin jA¤rjestA¤mA¤ katamaraani matka 26 km pA¤A¤hA¤n saaresta sijaitseville koralleille o"
